Can you believe this Thursday is Thanksgiving? Where did the time go? Hopefully your holiday will include visiting with friends and family and enjoying a wonderful Thanksgiving feast. One more reason to be thankful is the beautiful weather forecasted for the next week. Be sure to get outside and ride, as these days won’t last much longer.
Saturday Trail Ride – Join Lynn for an afternoon ride on the DPR trail. The ride will depart from the Daniel Wright woods parking lot at 1:30PM on Saturday.
Sunday Trail Ride – Join us for an endurance ride on the DPR trail. The ride will depart from the Daniel Wright woods parking lot at 7:30AM and it’s generally a 3 hour loop.
Fredo’s Thursday Night Trail Ride – This Thursday evening, it is predicted that Fredo will be in a food coma; therefore he will be unable to lead the ride. See you next week!
Chicross Cup Series Race #11 – Melas CX Racin Basin. The promoters of this week’s race are known for their over-the-top obstacles. It all started in 2003 with the “Pit of despair”, which some of us remember pretty vividly. This year’s course features the “racin basin” which is a drainage area, where riders may drain all the energy from their legs; hmmm?! Are you up for the challenge? For race details click here.
Kringle Kross – This race may be named after a pastry, but it may be best to hold off from eating any until after racing! This Wisconsin race is held in Hales Corner, not far from Milwaukee. For race details click here.
Jingle Cross – Head to Iowa City if you’re looking to compete against the big guns. This two day UCI series is holiday favorite (just a week early this year). For race details click here.
Norge Ski Jump Cross – This is the post-holiday fun/suffer-fest in Fox River Grove. There are hills, obstacles and plenty of grass to help burn those unwanted calories. For race details click here.
Have a great holiday!
