Power Packed Week

Some of us have had a little downtime from the 2012 racing season and have started to plan out and train for the 2013 season. That’s not the case for cross racers – they’ve got a few weeks to go to make it to the end and it’ll be a BIG end at that! With a UCI Series this weekend followed by Nationals and Worlds, the best is yet to come. Good luck to all Chicago-area racers!
New Year’s Resolution Races – These races are shaping up to be quite a series, especially for women. There are riders coming from all over the country to participate in all three categories (women’s 2/3, ¾ and UCI) Chicago’s own Liz So will represent Chicago in the UCI field, woohoo! For race details click here.
US National CX Championships – There’ll be a few days rest and then it’s back to work, mid-week in Madison for the National Championships. As of last weekend, the course was covered in snow, but there’s a warm-up on the way that could melt away everything. Will it be white or will there be a mud fest? My guess is it’s going to get a little technical, which should make a few people happy. Good luck to all who are racing. For event details click here.
