Labor Day Weekend

gateway_arch2The road racing season is winding down, but track is still holding out for a few more weeks at Northbrook and the CVC. Next Thursday Northbrook hosts the State Championship Madison races. Not sure what a Madison is? You should come and check it out! The Madison is a mass start, two-person team, Points Race competition. One teammate is always in the race, but teams typically switch out riders every lap. The exchange is done by the exiting rider flinging the entering rider into the field, with the field riding over the exchanges. It’s a crowd favorite, but it’s also a lot of fun for the competitors. Come and see what it’s all about. For information, click here

Despite the holiday, there are still lots of riding and racing options for this weekend. Check below for some great opportunities.
