Lincoln Park Criterium

Last week’s Super Crit was so much fun. There were two good-sized, local women’s fields; a great triumph for those of us who have been around for a few years. Both fields had competitive depth with teams and individuals vying for control of the field and the win. Things look positive for a repeat of the action this weekend and the weather looks promising as well. Spring & Summer season, here we come!!
Lincoln Park Criterium – The Lincoln Park criterium is this Saturday in Chicago. Located at Montrose and the Lakefront, it doesn’t get much closer to home. There are two women’s races; the Category 4 field and the open. The open race is a memorial for one of the team’s fallen riders, Beth Kobeszka. She was a young and vibrant woman who passed in a tragic cycling accident a few years back. Honor her memory by getting out there and doing exactly what she would be doing if she were here – racing!
