It’s another big weekend for women in Chicagoland with the women’s dinner on Saturday and the Townhall for the Chicago Women’s Elite Cycling (CWEC) program on Sunday. The weather is also delightful for January, so outdoor rides are possible and should be pleasant! What more could you ask for in the middle of winter?
Specialized Indoor Time Trial Series – Event #2 – The Specialized indoor time trial series continues this Saturday at Mill Race Cyclery in Geneva, IL. This week’s course covers rolling terrain, so it will be challenging for all. To register or for more information, click here.
Women’s Dinner- We’re all set for Saturday night! We have a large and mixed group of riders, including recreational, endurance, road, track, cross and mountain biking. There should be lots of laughter and plenty of good conversation! Thanks to Leigh Thompson for opening up her home for our event and to Kathy Corbett, for providing her culinary expertise!
I had a few requests for previous years photos, and I couldn’t come up with a group shot (we will take one this year and post it!) but Amy Dykema has shared her set from the 2012 dinner here.
CWEC Town Hall – Want to know all about the biggest thing to hit the Chicago Cycling scene? Attend the Town Hall this Sunday at Edge Athlete Lounge on Elston. Make sure you and your team are represented! For details on the event, click here.
