We’re heading into the last weekend of June and there’s all sorts of fun cycling events to fill your days. Are you looking for a fast paced crit or the opportunity to go all-out and test your mental and physical strength? If so, there are great road racing options. You may be looking to keep you efforts short but explosive. If so, head to the velodrome! Lastly, if you’re looking for an escape from the city, but still looking for a thrill ride, then it’s mountain biking for you! Pick your poison and have fun on your bike!
Tour of America’s Dairyland (ToAD) –It’s the final few days of this year’s Tour of America’s Dairyland. There’s been a ton of great racing and this weekend the action will continue. Saturday is the Downer Classic in Milwaukee, which is a historic course. The final stage will be the East Tosa criterium, which has all the charm of a neighborhood race, but it’ll still be fast. ABR Illinois State 40K TT Championship – Looking to add a state championship to your cycling achievements? Plan to head out to Paw Paw, Illinois to compete on this challenging out and back course. Sprinters Omnium II – Head out to the Ed Rudolph velodrome tomorrow for another round of sprints. The tournament is from 9AM until 2PM. For more information, click here.

Women’s Dirt Day’s #3 – Hitting the trails is a great way to get-away over the holiday weekend. You won’t actually have to travel far, as this event will be held on the trails at Palos.
