Last evening was the last night of racing for the Ed Rudolph velodrome 2015 season. It was a celebration of a successful season that included food, fun and racing. There was even an Officials race between Carl and Heidi, which had a spectacular finish! Although this brings to close the summer track season, there’s still so much ahead. ABR 4 Person Team Time Trial –This is one of the most challenging and rewarding events around. You’ll ride your heart out, but it will all be for a team effort. Efficiency is key, so practice cornering and plan ahead to conquer the wind. For race information, click here.
Rapha Pop-Up- Chicago – Things are rolling on with the Rapha Pop Up! Join the weekly rides on Tuesday’s and Saturday’s through the 22nd. There are also a few extra rides, so check the schedule for updates. This week on the events agenda, there’s the Women’s Roundtable/Brunch/Ride on Sunday and the viewing party for Cross Vegas on Wednesday. Don’t miss out on all the fun. Chi-cross Cup Series Race #1 –Ready or not, here we go! Chicago’s cross season begins with the Caldwell Woods course, located on the north side of the city. Once the site of great winter tobogganing fun, it’s now a great cross course. There’s everything from hills, off camber turns, tight corners and long power sections. Lake Geneva Cross – Wisconsin also has a great series of cross races and if you’re looking to get out of town, this might be just what you’re looking for. The course will challenge you with grass, sand, gravel, pavement and hills. What else could you ask for?! For race details, click here.
Northshore Century – It’s not quite fall, but it is September and time for the annual Northshore Century. This is a local favorite amongst racers and casual riders alike.
