We’re well into January and seem to be experiencing a bit of a warming trend, which is awesome no matter if you train inside or outside. The days are also getting a little longer so we’re certainly headed in the right direction! Keep the focus on your season goals, as it’ll be here before you know it. Fattyooshko Fat Tire Bike Race –The outdoor cycling fun continues with this fat bike race. It’ll be hot laps around Kosciusko Park in Milwaukee. Enter as an individual or team up for a relay. If you need a fat bike, some may be available to rent. For information, click here.
Annual Women’s Dinner –The annual women’s dinner is tomorrow night and we’re set for a great evening of celebrating 2015’s season and making a toast to a great 2016. We’re l looking forward to catching up with our favorite racers and riders and enjoying an amazing dinner. The event is at Leigh Thompson’s home in Winnetka at 6:30PM. New Year’s Social – SCVA – Join the South Side Velodrome Association at Revolution Brewing to toast a few pints and to raise funds for the velodrome. The event is on Sunday and will include a silent auction with items from some great local vendors. Do your part to help the velodrome continue to be part of Chicago. For event details, click here.

ABD Indoor Time Trial Series Event #2 – The annual series continues with a hilly 10k course to challenge the limits of your power. For details on the event, click here.
