Another Winter Warm-up

The calendar may say it’s winter, but step outside and you’ll feel spring! We’ve got another spectacular weather weekend here in Chicago. Like last weekend, the group rides will be in full swing, so catch a ride with your favorite group or find a quiet road to train. Check below for upcoming cycling opportunities.

ABD’s Indoor Time Trial Series Event #3 – It’s back to a flat course for this weekend’s time trial challenge. Keep your racing edge sharp as we build towards racing season and head out to Winfield Central School to be part of the action. For event information or to register, click here.

Rapha Chicago February Lecture Series – The Rapha lecture series continues. This Wednesday’s lecture will feature Robbie Ventura of Vision Quest Coaching and former US Postal domestic professional racer. Robbie will be speaking on coaching and goal setting. For more information, click here.

Coming Up:

UCI World Cup Track Cycling – World Cup track cycling is coming to the United States. The Velo Sports Center in Los Angeles will be host to this UCI event on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25. They’ll be featuring all the crowd favorites, including the Keirin, the Madison and the Team Pursuit, among others. For more information, click here.

Plan Ahead:

Kenosha Velosport Spring Training Criterium Series – A sure sign that spring is on its way is the Kenosha Training Criterium Series. Many of us made our entry into the sport by trying a few of these pre-season races. They’re local and low-key, but just enough to get your season started. The races will be held on March 12, 19 and 26. For more information, click here.

Have a great weekend.
