We’ve got a mixed bag of weather this weekend, so the hearty will still get their training in outdoors, but it’s nearly March and spending a few more hours on the trainer isn’t so bad for the rest of us. There’s plenty of indoor cycling activities to take part in this weekend, including an art show. Whatever you do, enjoy the journey on your bike and get ready because spring is right around the corner.
Chicago Bike Winter Art Show – The 20th annual art show is this Friday and Saturday at Convert Loft on Lincoln Avenue. Mix and mingle with fellow cyclists while enjoying cycling-specific artwork. For more information, click here.
UCI World Cup Track Cycling – World Cup track cycling is here! This Friday through Sunday, the Velo Sports Center in Los Angeles will be host to this UCI event which will feature all the crowd favorites, including the Keirin, the Madison and the Team Pursuit, among others. Kenosha Velosport Spring Training Criterium Series – A sure sign that spring is on its way is the Kenosha Training Criterium Series. Many of us made our entry into the sport by trying a few of these pre-season races. They’re local and low-key, but just enough to get your season started. Women’s Track Cycling Clinic – Ever wonder what it’s like to ride a fixed gear bike or ride on a velodrome?
